Where is Magic?

I wonder what type of magic we could create, on earth, before we become spirits, if the energy of our being, and our desires, was focused on beauty, and how to create it?

I mean, if all six billion of us were like that, every day, all the time....

 

Very sad to hear about Joan Rivers today.  I remember first seeing her on Ed Sullivan when I was 8 years old.  One of her routines I really loved was "Catch me!  Catch me!"  Talking about new, young lovers, chasing each other around the bedroom, playfully and energetically taunting one another: "Catch me!  Catch me!"  Then Joan explained how ever the years, the game slowed down, and all the "Catch me's!" got a little slower and a little lower with the passage of time.  Until finally the couple just sort of gives up and says "You know what......I'll catch you tomorrow."  

I hope that Joan and Robin have them all in stitches, wherever they are.......

Went to the Jeff Koons Whitney show last Friday August 29th.  A mixed bag of pop ideas.  Seems fitting that this will be the last Whitney show until they move next spring.  Liked the Coney Island-themed stuff with plastic inflated dolphins and garbage cans painted white.
